Tribal companies get jump on new DoD cybersecurity rules - as seen in Tribal Business News

ree

Cayuse Government Operations was featured in an August 10 article in Tribal Business News entitled "Tribal companies get jump on new DoD cybersecurity rules." The piece describes how two tribally owned companies have established themselves as early adopters of the Department of Defense's Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0, securing a leading position in anticipation of a comprehensive federal mandate scheduled to take effect in October 2025.

Cayuse's managing director of operations, Craig Hartburg, discussed how Cayuse Government Operations earned a perfect score in its April 2024 CMMC assessment, placing it among "the top 0.1 percent" of more than 80,000 applying contractors.
